Senior Officer, Green Finance Policy

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyse events, and national strategic plans within the green financing framework.
- Conduct studies and analysis of the market gaps between demand and supply of green loans to support green businesses and analyse trends of green financial products in the agricultural sector.
- Research green business models, principles, and conditions of sustainable financing (Sustainable/Green Business Model).
- Research and develop green/sustainable business models to advance green financing initiatives.
- Participate in the preparation and updating of green loan policies and procedures, including other related normative and regulatory documents.
- Involves in the preparation and implementation of the Cambodia Climate Finance Facility (CCFF) under the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
- Engage in the development of a roadmap and documentation for ARDB to become an Accredited Entity (AE) under the Green Climate Fund.
- Engage in internal and external training courses, workshops, and other relevant activities.
- Participate in meetings with developing partners within the green financing and related areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Head of Department.
Qualifications and competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, or an equivalent field.
- At least two years of experience in the banking sector.
- Experience in preparing reports and conducting policy research is preferred.
- Understanding of the challenges and solutions in Cambodia’s agriculture sector.
- Understanding green loans and sustainable development is an advantage.
- English level (can write, read, listen, and speak).
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Understanding of banking and finance, as well as in policy development within the agricultural sector.
- Understanding research methods, information gathering and technology utilization.
- Proficient in reporting and professional relations.
- Comprehends the overall functioning of the bank.
- Strong problem-solving skills, collaboration, teamwork and communication.
- High sense of responsibility, integrity and impartially.
- Perseverance and passion.
Salary and other benefits
