H.E. Dr. Kao Thach and colleagues come to check the potato stock and the situation of increasing the grain yield of the army brothers.

Uddar Meanchey: H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, the representative of the Tukbantok government as the CEO of Rural Development Bank and Agriculture and Associates on July 13, 2025, visited to inspect the potato warehouse and the rice production situation of his military family in Tropang Prasat District, Preah Vihear Province.

On that occasion, His Excellency Dr. Kao Thach also took the time to meet directly at the warehouse and inquired about the potato market situation, collecting and production of newly cultivated Chinese wheat seeds, as well as light grains, which are about to be harvested soon.

Afterwards, the delegation also visited a farm site to check the potential of cultivating some tactical crops such as Aromatic Duran, Savmao, Tangen Llek, which is being grown on an area of about 2,000 hectares in Anlong Veng District, Uddar Mean Chey Province.

Meanwhile, His Excellency Dr. Kao Thach has continued to inspect another large potato storage warehouse in Tropang Tao Commune, Onlong Veng District, which is collecting and storing potatoes around 188 tons.

On that occasion, on behalf of the Rural and Agriculture Development Bank, a strategic bank of the government, H.E. Dr. Kao Thach called on the owners of potato warehouses in Udar Meanchey province and the church to increase the capacity of farmers to collect more purchases from various places to encourage potato market circulation along the border gates to be more active.
