Phnom Penh: H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in Charge as CEO of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), presided over the opening of the official research paper launch event of the Akkak Pundit Sapheachar Aun Pornmoniroth Center for Policy Studies and Training (APM Center).
The official research paper launch event was organized to disseminate the findings of two research papers conducted by the APM Center, including: (1). MSMEs Development in Cambodia: An Institutional Analysis through the Lens of the Development States and (2). The Role of Development Finance Institutions in Supporting Agricultural Cooperatives in Cambodia: A comparative Study and the Case of Agricultural and Rural Development Bank. This event also aimed to widely showcase the various achievements of the APM Center, as well as to create a platform for ARDB’s research working group, experts, and postgraduate students from universities to exchange experiences and knowledge with one another. This research center will be served as the platform for researchers to publish their work and inspire young researchers to actively conduct the researches and publish on this platform in the form of Working Papers Series.
On this occasion, H.E. Dr. Kao Thach expressed his appreciation and high recognition for the APM Center’s research working group, who demonstrated great professionalism, diligence, and perseverance in overcoming various challenges to successfully complete the research papers presented this morning. He emphasized that this achievement is an excellent example of strengthening institutional capacity and human resource development through continuous learning and research, in line with the National Policy on Lifelong Learning.
