Muscat, Oman: On the morning of April 23, 2025, H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) and Chairman of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP), delivered welcoming remarks at the 48th ADFIAP Annual Meetings, held under the theme “Economic Gardening and Development Impact,” from April 23–25, 2025, at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Muscat, Oman. In his speech, H.E. Dr. Kao Thach emphasized that “Development financing institutions (DFIs) play essential roles in supporting economic gardening through investing in local businesses, building entrepreneurial ecosystems, promoting mission-driven finance, and bridging the financing gap, especially in green and sustainable finance.”
