H.E. Dr. Kao Thach and associates visit 13 families who grow vegetables in the poverty reduction project of ARDB Bank

Battambang: H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, representative of Touk Bantok Government, CEO of Rural Development Bank and Agriculture and Associates, on the morning of July 14th, visited the farmers who produce vegetables and produce net houses, equal to 52 houses, located at Pichchenda Commune, Phnom Brabh District, Battambang Province.

Farmers from 13 families above, they come from different municipalities and districts in Battambang province and some others migrated to work in Thailand, but now they have become one of the most active vegetable producing forces in the community of the Poverty Alleviation Project supported by ARDB Bank.

On the occasion of his visit to inspect the production and cultivation of vegetables of the 13 farmers from upper families, H.E. Dr. Delegation encouraged the provincial project chairperson to expand the cultivation area and increase more producer families in order to contribute to alleviating poverty in rural areas.

Please be informed that the Poverty Reduction Project is supported by ARDB Bank under the initiative of H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, the representative of the government in charge, the Director General of Rural Development and Agriculture Bank.

The project started the construction of the net house in November 2024 and completed the construction of net houses in May 2025, with a total of 52 net houses, poor farmers participating in 13 families, in one family receiving 4 net houses.

Meanwhile, the project aims to contribute to the development of the socio-economic and financial environment, to alleviate poverty, this is linked with all characters in the production chain to ensure full control of growing technology and marketing.
