Junior Account

Junior Account is a type of deposit account (Savings/Fixed Deposit) designed for minors under the age of 16. Junior Account encourages effective financial management habit and provides parents or guardians with the opportunity to safely manage their child’s account activities.

Junior Account Types:

1. Smart Saving Junior Account: A supplementary account linked to a saving account that allows children to use a separate ARDB Mobile App on their own mobile devices under direct parental management. Junior account holders can check their balance, transfer funds, make local payments, and manage their savings independently under guardian supervision.
2. Monthly Fixed Installment Junior Account: A joint saving account for parents and children that offers high flexibility for parents to set saving goals and monthly deposit amounts according to their personal needs and actual financial capacity.
3. Maturity Junior Account: A type of account for children that functions as a fixed/term deposit account, designed for parents or guardians who wish to save money for their children’s future use.

• Parents or guardian, and child’s photo

Minimum Initial Balance:

1. Smart Saving Junior Account: Initial deposit amount: 10 USD or 40,000 KHR
2. Monthly Fixed Installment Junior Account:
   • Initial deposit amount: 100 USD or 400,000 KHR or more (minimum monthly deposit of 10 USD or more, with a minimum term of 37 months.)
   • Customers cannot make a monthly deposit that is lower than the amount initially selected.
3. Maturity Junior Account: Less than or equal to 2,000 USD or 8,000,000 KHR
