H.E. Dr. Kao Thach chaired the 2nd of the Green Credit Committee (GCC) Meeting under the Cambodia Climate Finance Facility (CCFF), funded by the Green Climate Fund (GCF).
Phnom Penh: H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), presided over the 2nd of the Green Credit Committee (GCC) Meeting of the Cambodia Climate Finance Facility (CCFF). The meeting was attended by representatives from the Korea Development Bank (KDB), Mekong Strategic Capital (MSC), and the CCFF Working Group.
The objectives of the meeting included: (1) reviewing and underwriting the eligibility pipelines, (2) outlining next disbursement plans, and (3) others.
As a result, the GCC approved three potential pipelines (two direct lending and one wholesale funding) that support sustainability agricultural and forestry, energy efficiency, clean energy, and low-emissions transportation. Furthermore, H.E. CEO also provided the guidance to the CCFF Working Group to continue support the green pipelines that are aligned with the CCFF’s priority sectors.
