.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as CEO of the ARDB presided the lecture series on ” Global Trends Affecting the Cambodia Economy ” delivered by H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Missions and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board (TPAB).

Phnom Penh: H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in Charge as CEO of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), presided over the APM Center’s 3rd Lecture Series on “Global Trends Affecting the Cambodian Economy” The lecture was delivered by H.E. Prof. Bundit Sapheacha Dr. Sok Siphana, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Missions and Chairman of the Trade Policy Advisory Board, and was attended by management, advisors, members of the research working groups, ARDB staff, and TPAB’s team, as well as professors, researchers, and students from various universities and institutes, totaling 180 participants (both in person and online).

This lecture was organized to share knowledge on the evolving global trends, particularly economic, trade, and geopolitical developments that have emerged and are impacting the Cambodian economy. The lecture also identified challenges, opportunities, and possible responses for Cambodia to mitigate the negative impacts while ensuring trade competitiveness and the resilience of the national economy.

The lecture series was held on the morning of Thursday, August 20, 2026, at the ARDB Headquarters.
