Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) Receives the ADFIAP Development Award 2026 for its Tri-Party Market-Linked Financing Program

Colombo, Sri Lanka: The Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) received the ADFIAP Development Award 2026 from the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) for its Tri-Party Market-Linked Financing Program during the 49th ADFIAP Annual Meetings, held from 23 to 25 September 2026 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The Tri-Party Market-Linked Financing Program is an innovative initiative developed by ARDB to provide financial solutions for farmers and other actors across the agricultural and agro-industrial value chains. The program aims to promote inclusive and sustainable financing for the agriculture sector by improving access to finance through partnerships across agricultural and agro-industrial value chains, including financing mechanisms that do not require traditional loan collateral.

Receiving this prestigious award reflects ARDB’s strong commitment not only to advancing financial inclusion, but also to strengthening the resilience of farmers and agricultural businesses. It also recognizes ARDB’s continued efforts to support farmers, strengthen agricultural and agro-industrial value chains, and contribute to making Cambodia’s agriculture sector more resilient and sustainable.
