Macao, China: On the afternoon of October 22, 2025, H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Chairman of the Association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific (ADFIAP) and Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), presided over and delivered welcoming remarks at the ADFIAP-AADFI Joint International CEO Forum 2025, held under the theme “Resilient Future: Harnessing Sustainable Finance for Development in Asia and Africa.” H.E. Dr. Kao Thach highlighted the importance of collaborations between development financial institutions in the Asian and the Pacific region and development financial institutions in the African region, and to promote the implementation of Blended Finance, aimed to combat against the climate change and towards sustainable development. In addition, H.E. Dr. Kao Thach expressed a meaningful perspective on cultivating cooperation through this phrase “If we want to walk fast, we walk alone, but if we want to walk far, we walk together.”
