His Excellency Delegate of the Royal Government in charge of CEO of the ARDB led the Meeting to review and discuss the progress on ARDB Marketplace platform development.

Phnom Penh: H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge of Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), led the Meeting to review and discuss the progress on ARDB Marketplace platform development. The platform is set up for the main purpose of minimizing supply and demand gaps by channeling the producers and consumers of Agricultural products in contribution to the marketability, sustainable supply and price stability of local agricultural products.

During this important meeting with a strong sense of responsibility and in a spirit of proactive leadership, H.E. Dr. provided several key recommendations to ARDB management in order to push this work including upgrade and optimize the platform by implementing multi-currency capabilities, enabling real-time merchant settlement upon order fulfillment and delivery completion, and establishing dedicated Clearance and Settlement teams to ensure efficient operational support for the ARDB Marketplace customer deposits.

Before concluding the meeting, H.E. Dr. also highlighted the importance of organizing and developing the ARDB Marketplace to be more attractive, innovative, and modern, in line with current technological advancements as a highly trusted and secured policy bank.
