Meeting to Strengthen Cooperation Between Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB) and GUANGXI BEIBU GULF BANK (BBG)

Nanning, China: On September 17, 2026, on the sidelines of the China-ASEAN Financial Cooperation and Development Forum, and with the high authorization of H.E. Dr. Kao Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of ARDB, H.E. Ban Lim, Deputy CEO of ARDB, led a delegation to pay a courtesy call and hold discussions on strengthening cooperation with the management of GUANGXI BEIBU GULF BANK (BBG) at its headquarters in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, People’s Republic of China.

​Prior to the official meeting, representatives from BBG guided the ARDB delegation on a tour of the “Digital Intelligence Driving a New Beibu Gulf Bank” exhibition center to learn about BBG’s financial technology development and modern digital banking operations, with a particular focus on the application of AI technology.

​During the courtesy meeting, H.E. Ban Lim conveyed warm greetings and deep appreciation from H.E. Dr. Kao Thach to the leadership of BBG for their ongoing partnership as a trusted cross-border payment correspondent bank for ARDB. During the discussion, both sides exchanged views on continuing to strengthen financial cooperation, enhancing the efficiency and security of cross-border payment banking services, and supporting the application of AI technology.
