ABOUT ARDB MOBILE APP

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By using this [ARDB] mobile Banking System and the materials available through this service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You are advised to review them again carefully. By clicking “Agree” to the Terms of use for the ARDB Mobile App, the user confirms that they have received an explanation and guidance, or have read it themselves, fully understand, and agree to all the terms specified herein. Consequently, the user willingly accepts full responsibility for all banking transactions conducted through the ARDB Mobile App and agrees to other conditions, such as service fees and transaction limits, officially implemented by ARDB Bank​ and this agreement will enter into force. These Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time in accordance with applicable laws and/or practical circumstances. ARDB reserves the right to notify users of any such amendments via the ARDB Mobile App or through any other communication channels within the Bank’s reasonable ability. You are assumed that agree the term and condition amendment in case of continuing use of the application.

ARDB Merchant Pay: means a mobile, iPad, Tablet, or electronic devices-based payment facility enabling ARDB Mobile users to make payments from their [ARDB] Accounts or online merchants by scanning compatible Quick Response (QR) codes or via POS terminals.
Account: means and includes [ARDB]’s Savings Account, Current Account, Fixed Deposit Account or any other accounts of ARDB in both KHR and USD currencies as may be created from time to time at [ARDB] branch.
Biometric Identifier: includes fingerprints, facial data and any other means by which a mobile device manufacturer allows a user to authenticate their identity for the purpose of unlocking their mobile device and access to the specific applications including [ARDB] Mobile.
CIF number: means a unique customer identification number used in [ARDB] system that you receive during your first account registration with [ARDB].
Customer: Includes [ARDB] account holder and non-[ARDB] account holder that acquire one-off services from [ARDB]. All Customers are subject to different forms of due diligence.
Electronic Statement

(e-Statement):

means a consolidated banking statement that reflects [ARDB]’s records for a specific period for a Customer’s Account on [ARDB] Mobile. The Electronic Statement is for informational purposes only.
Fixed Deposit

Certificate:

means an informational electronic document of your Fixed Deposit Account details opened via ARDB Mobile or at ARDB Branch.
Payment: means a payment order initiated by you through [ARDB] Mobile to make a debit of your eligible Account for any payments; for example, to make a payment to vendors and/or merchants, physical or virtual.
Username: an identification of you for accessing [ARDB] Mobile. It is required to be set up at the first time of activation and to remember for later access.
Personal Information: refers to the personal information provided by you to [ARDB], including but not limited to name, national identity number (NID), date of birth, phone number, email, address.
Mobile ID: means a unique identification number assigned to each [ARDB] Mobile user during registration.
Mobile Operator: means a participating mobile telephone network operator.
PIN: means the unique six (6) digits number used to log in to [ARDB] Mobile and to confirm any Transaction.
Notifications: means and includes SMS and in-app push-notifications sent to you on different occasions related to banking transactions, marketing or general alerts sent by [ARDB].
Security Credential: means and includes passwords, personal or login identification numbers (PIN), One-Time-Pin (OTP) and other codes and access procedures including short messaging service (SMS) for access to and use of services in [ARDB] Mobile provided by us from time to time.
Transaction History: indicates list of all the Transactions entered or performed within [ARDB] Account within a specific period irrespective of the method of performing the transaction.
Scan QR: means a QR code scanning service in [ARDB] Mobile that allows users to scan and pay at [ARDB] Pay enabled sales points or to scan QR codes at other [ARDB]’s facilities to process various types of transactions.
GPS means user location when user login to [ARDB] mobile App

Account Management: Savings/ Current/ Fixed account/Pension Account/ Wallet Accounts details Mini Statement/ Periodic Statement/View Account Wallet/Download Account Statement

Online Account Opening: Open savings/ Fixed Deposit/ Pension Fund accounts which available in both USD (Dollar) and KHR (Riel) currencies through the ARDB Mobile App

Transfers: Manage beneficiaries/ Transfer between own accounts /and Transfer within ARDB

Bill Payment: Electricity supply/ Water supply/ Solid waste/ others wallet

Mobile Top-Up: Mobile recharge support for all supported mobile operators

Loan Service: Loan disbursement information/Loan outstanding/Loan Schedule/Loan Repayment Schedule

Loan Request: Submit loan requests through the ARDB Mobile App

Bakong Account Service: Transfer funds to Bakong members or other banks via Bakong system

Currency Exchange Information: Check daily exchange rates for USD and KHR

KHQR Code: Download KHQR codes in both KHR and USD currencies through ARDB Mobile App

Payment via KHQR Code: Customers can make payments by scanning KHQR with merchants or scanning to transfer funds to other banks via the ARDB Mobile App

Location Services: Find ARDB branch locations through the ARDB Mobile App

ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION

 

TRANSACTION LIMITS

ARDB reserves the right to set and change transaction limits, transfer conditions, as well as transfer destinations at any time without giving prior notice, as part of constant risk management measures.

 

ACCESSIBILITY

  1. Access to ARDB Mobile App is available on individual account holders. Eligible accounts are subject to respective account Terms and Conditions.
  2. Customers may apply for ARDB Mobile services at ARDB bank if you wish. A daily transaction limit is set by the Bank or requested by you (subject to approval from ARDB).
  3. ARDB Mobile App requires internet connectivity on a mobile operating system, after successful registration, eligible individual accounts (single or joint) will automatically be linked to ARDB Mobile. Certain accounts may be restricted for fund transfer and bill payments based on account terms and conditions or account instructions.

ACCESS LIMIT

A daily transaction limit of transfer is set by ARDB Bank or upon customer request, subject to ARDB approval. If there is a change in the threshold of daily limit, you are required to request in writing to ARDB Bank for such a change either increase or decrease daily limit, all transactions conducted through ARDB Mobile App.

 

APP PUSH NOTIFICATION

You agree to receive alerts or notifications for your ARDB account for certain transactions or for marketing communication from ARDB.

 

LANGUAGE

Khmer and English versions are provided for reference only.

In the event of any conflict, discrepancy, or inconsistency between the Khmer and English versions, the Khmer version shall prevail and govern.

 

CURRENCY

ARDB supports Khmer Riel (KHR) and US Dollar (USD). If payment is made in currency differently to your account currency, the system will automatically convert it based on the exchange rate of ARDB Bank.

 

FEE AND CHARGE

ARDB may charge fees for certain transactions. You authorize ARDB to debit applicable fees directly from your account. These fees and charges may be amended by ARDB from time to time. Full details of all current fees and charges are available at ARDB Bank.

 

MOBILE PHONE TYPE

Almost all kinds of mobile phones running iOS or Android can relate to ARDB mobile service. For those who receive transferred money via this service can use any kinds of mobile phone.

 

YOUR SECURITY OBLIGATIONS

You must take all reasonable precautions to keep safe and prevent any fraudulent use of internet browsers or mobile devices and security information. These precautions include:  :

We accept that sometimes we can get things wrong, and when this happens, we’re determined to make them right again. If you believe that funds have been lost, there is any error in transactions, or you lose your mobile phone or device, you should contact our Call Center immediately or visit to ARDB bank.

 

GOVERNING LAW

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Cambodia.
