ABOUT ARDB MOBILE APP
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. By using this [ARDB] mobile Banking System and the materials available through this service, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. You are advised to review them again carefully. By clicking “Agree” to the Terms of use for the ARDB Mobile App, the user confirms that they have received an explanation and guidance, or have read it themselves, fully understand, and agree to all the terms specified herein. Consequently, the user willingly accepts full responsibility for all banking transactions conducted through the ARDB Mobile App and agrees to other conditions, such as service fees and transaction limits, officially implemented by ARDB Bank and this agreement will enter into force. These Terms and Conditions may be amended at any time in accordance with applicable laws and/or practical circumstances. ARDB reserves the right to notify users of any such amendments via the ARDB Mobile App or through any other communication channels within the Bank’s reasonable ability. You are assumed that agree the term and condition amendment in case of continuing use of the application.
| ARDB Merchant Pay: | means a mobile, iPad, Tablet, or electronic devices-based payment facility enabling ARDB Mobile users to make payments from their [ARDB] Accounts or online merchants by scanning compatible Quick Response (QR) codes or via POS terminals. |
| Account: | means and includes [ARDB]’s Savings Account, Current Account, Fixed Deposit Account or any other accounts of ARDB in both KHR and USD currencies as may be created from time to time at [ARDB] branch. |
| Biometric Identifier: | includes fingerprints, facial data and any other means by which a mobile device manufacturer allows a user to authenticate their identity for the purpose of unlocking their mobile device and access to the specific applications including [ARDB] Mobile. |
| CIF number: | means a unique customer identification number used in [ARDB] system that you receive during your first account registration with [ARDB]. |
| Customer: | Includes [ARDB] account holder and non-[ARDB] account holder that acquire one-off services from [ARDB]. All Customers are subject to different forms of due diligence. |
| Electronic Statement
(e-Statement): |
means a consolidated banking statement that reflects [ARDB]’s records for a specific period for a Customer’s Account on [ARDB] Mobile. The Electronic Statement is for informational purposes only. |
| Fixed Deposit
Certificate: |
means an informational electronic document of your Fixed Deposit Account details opened via ARDB Mobile or at ARDB Branch. |
| Payment: | means a payment order initiated by you through [ARDB] Mobile to make a debit of your eligible Account for any payments; for example, to make a payment to vendors and/or merchants, physical or virtual. |
| Username: | an identification of you for accessing [ARDB] Mobile. It is required to be set up at the first time of activation and to remember for later access. |
| Personal Information: | refers to the personal information provided by you to [ARDB], including but not limited to name, national identity number (NID), date of birth, phone number, email, address. |
| Mobile ID: | means a unique identification number assigned to each [ARDB] Mobile user during registration. |
| Mobile Operator: | means a participating mobile telephone network operator. |
| PIN: | means the unique six (6) digits number used to log in to [ARDB] Mobile and to confirm any Transaction. |
| Notifications: | means and includes SMS and in-app push-notifications sent to you on different occasions related to banking transactions, marketing or general alerts sent by [ARDB]. |
| Security Credential: | means and includes passwords, personal or login identification numbers (PIN), One-Time-Pin (OTP) and other codes and access procedures including short messaging service (SMS) for access to and use of services in [ARDB] Mobile provided by us from time to time. |
| Transaction History: | indicates list of all the Transactions entered or performed within [ARDB] Account within a specific period irrespective of the method of performing the transaction. |
| Scan QR: | means a QR code scanning service in [ARDB] Mobile that allows users to scan and pay at [ARDB] Pay enabled sales points or to scan QR codes at other [ARDB]’s facilities to process various types of transactions. |
| GPS | means user location when user login to [ARDB] mobile App |

Online Account Opening: Open savings/ Fixed Deposit/ Pension Fund accounts which available in both USD (Dollar) and KHR (Riel) currencies through the ARDB Mobile App

Location Services: Find ARDB branch locations through the ARDB Mobile App

ELIGIBILITY AND REGISTRATION
- Must be 15 years old or older.
- Have an IOS or Android mobile phone, iPad, Tablet, or electronic device, along with a phone number to download ARDB Mobile App from App Store/Play Store for registration of the service.
- Fill in the information gradually accurately and clearly and take a real selfie with holding your identity card follow the Bank’s procedure in force. In case you use Cambodia ID card for registration the system will authorize automatically. However, if you use Passport or other identity documents must pending authorization from bank first before registration successfully.
- Agree with terms and conditions of ARDB Mobile App.
ARDB reserves the right to set and change transaction limits, transfer conditions, as well as transfer destinations at any time without giving prior notice, as part of constant risk management measures.
- Access to ARDB Mobile App is available on individual account holders. Eligible accounts are subject to respective account Terms and Conditions.
- Customers may apply for ARDB Mobile services at ARDB bank if you wish. A daily transaction limit is set by the Bank or requested by you (subject to approval from ARDB).
- ARDB Mobile App requires internet connectivity on a mobile operating system, after successful registration, eligible individual accounts (single or joint) will automatically be linked to ARDB Mobile. Certain accounts may be restricted for fund transfer and bill payments based on account terms and conditions or account instructions.
A daily transaction limit of transfer is set by ARDB Bank or upon customer request, subject to ARDB approval. If there is a change in the threshold of daily limit, you are required to request in writing to ARDB Bank for such a change either increase or decrease daily limit, all transactions conducted through ARDB Mobile App.
You agree to receive alerts or notifications for your ARDB account for certain transactions or for marketing communication from ARDB.
Khmer and English versions are provided for reference only.
In the event of any conflict, discrepancy, or inconsistency between the Khmer and English versions, the Khmer version shall prevail and govern.
ARDB supports Khmer Riel (KHR) and US Dollar (USD). If payment is made in currency differently to your account currency, the system will automatically convert it based on the exchange rate of ARDB Bank.
ARDB may charge fees for certain transactions. You authorize ARDB to debit applicable fees directly from your account. These fees and charges may be amended by ARDB from time to time. Full details of all current fees and charges are available at ARDB Bank.
Almost all kinds of mobile phones running iOS or Android can relate to ARDB mobile service. For those who receive transferred money via this service can use any kinds of mobile phone.
You must take all reasonable precautions to keep safe and prevent any fraudulent use of internet browsers or mobile devices and security information. These precautions include: :
- Never write down or otherwise record your security details in a way that can be understood by someone else;
- Not using security details that may be easy to guess
- Preventing others from seeing or hearing your credentials, including the police and us
- Keeping your security details unique ARDB Mobile App
- Not disclosing your security details to anyone, including the police and us
- Changing your security details immediately, if you know, or even suspect, that someone else knows your security details, or if we ask you to
- Once you have logged onto the ARDB Mobile App please do not leave your logged-in browser or mobile device unattended or let anyone else use your browser or mobile device
- Logging out of ARDB Mobile App once you have finished using ARDB Mobile App
- Should never disclose your security details to anyone or information about your accounts with us
- Protecting devices from viruses or other destructive properties
- Not using ARDB Mobile for prohibited business activities
- Not using ARDB Mobile for any purpose other than to undertake legitimate banking enquiries or Transaction on accounts you are legally entitled to operate in accordance with the Specific Terms and Conditions and the terms and conditions applicable to you.
- Not acting fraudulently or maliciously in relation to ARDB Mobile App or software. As examples, you must not copy, modify, adversely affect, hack into or insert malicious code into ARDB Mobile or software.
- Your e-mail address provided in the enrolment form shall be formally recognized by the bank. If you need to use different one, you are required to give prior notice to the bank.
You need to be responsible for the information you filled in ARDB Mobile App.
- You shall be liable for any loss or damage, including losses suffered by yourself, other people or ARDB If you act negligently or test to make transactions, invasion, searching, cheating the data, fraudulent directly or indirectly, either alone or participatively. You will face the law even though you act intentionally or unintentionally.
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in connection with ARDB Mobile App such as Law on Anti-money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism.
- You accept and agree that ARDB has the right to delay, block, or refuse to process any transaction without incurring any liability if we suspect and find that,

- The transaction might violate any Law of the Kingdom of Cambodia

- The transaction might directly or indirectly involve any designated individual or entity prohibition or any illegal activities.
- You shall be fully responsible for ARDB users and passwords properly and highly securely to avoid any unauthorized transaction.
- You shall be fully responsible for all losses or damages caused by unauthorized transactions including sending the inaccurate information…etc.
- The bank shall follow any instruction or transaction made by the ARDB Mobile App user. In case of having an error or late in response to your instruction due to technical issues of information network, you shall inform the bank via your mobile phone or come to the nearest ARDB offices to complete the transaction.
- The bank has the right to control and follow or not follow your instruction or transaction according to the laws and our policies in place.
PAYMENT AND TRANSFER THROUGH ARDB MOBILE APP
- ARDB shall execute transfer or payment instructions initiated via the mobile phone linked to the ARDB Mobile App. The user is required to provide accurate and precise information, including but not limited to the account number, mobile number, and transaction amount, and must verify such details on the device screen prior to authorizing the payment (before clicking “Confirm”). The user shall bear sole and absolute liability for any transaction errors, including but not limited to transfers made to an incorrect beneficiary account, or any surplus or deficit in the amount transferred.
- The user must verify and match the physical or actual bill against the information displayed on the device screen including the customer’s name, Consumer Number/ID, and the payable amount to ensure complete accuracy prior to authorizing the payment (before clicking “Confirm”). Such payments must be made at least one (1) day prior to the due date. ARDB shall bear no liability for any outstanding debts or other risks arising from erroneous, delayed, omitted, or insufficient payments relative to the actual bill amount.
- Payments or fund transfers to accounts via electronic channels cannot be modified, amended, or revoked once the transaction has been successfully processed and completed. The user must immediately notify ARDB bank if any information displayed on their account statement is incorrect regarding such payments or transfers.
- The user must review their account statements to ensure the accuracy of all transactions executed via the ARDB Mobile App. In the event of any discrepancies on the user’s account, the user must notify the Bank within sixty (60) days from the respective transaction date. Otherwise, ARDB shall bear no liability or obligation to resolve the matter.
The bank reserves the right to disclose the information concerning your account in cases below:
- There is requirement from the competence authorities e.g., National Bank of Cambodia etc.
- Audit purpose, and
- Other cases with the approval from you and in accordance with the Law of Kingdom of Cambodia
USE AND PRIVACY SETTING OF PERSONAL DATA
- ARDB may collect and retain information provided by the user, including but not limited to mobile numbers, first and last names, gender, date of birth, national identification numbers, national identification card expiration dates, Employee identification card, addresses, and any other information required to support registration for the ARDB Mobile App.
- The categories of personal information collected by ARDB are subject to change based on actual operational requirements and changing circumstances.
- ARDB may use the user’s personal information under any of the following circumstances:
- When the user clicks “Confirm” to register for the service;
- When required to comply with applicable laws, regulations, or competent authorities
- To authorize the user access to the ARDB Mobile App;
- To authorize user access to location-based services;
- To provide the user with the Bank’s products and services available on the ARDB Mobile App
- To manage and process user transactions;
- For the Bank’s internal records; and
- To improve and enhance the Bank’s products and services.
- The Bank may share the user’s personal information with third parties or integrated service providers to manage and process the user’s payment transactions.
- The Bank shall retain the user’s personal information in accordance with ARDB’s data retention policy. The Bank may retain user information for a specified period necessary to fulfill its obligations under applicable legal or regulatory frameworks. When the user’s information is no longer required, the Bank shall immediately and securely delete it.
- The Bank guarantees that the user’s personal information shall be stored using highly secure methods. ARDB Bank protects the user’s personal information by implementing rigorous security mechanisms to prevent unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, copying, modification, disposal, or any other related risks.
We accept that sometimes we can get things wrong, and when this happens, we’re determined to make them right again. If you believe that funds have been lost, there is any error in transactions, or you lose your mobile phone or device, you should contact our Call Center immediately or visit to ARDB bank.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Cambodia.
