H.E. Dr. KAO Thach discuss with the management of Vattanac Bank on potential collaboration in supporting agricultural SMEs and green finance.

Phnom Penh: H.E. Dr. KAO Thach, Delegate of the Royal Government in charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), accompanied by his colleagues, met with the management of Vattanac Bank to exchange views and explore potential areas of cooperation between the two institutions in supporting enterprises in the agricultural sector, promoting green finance, and advancing sustainable agricultural development.

The discussion focused on strengthening access to finance for agricultural businesses, supporting sustainable agricultural development, promoting green financing, and exploring potential financing mechanisms to support private-sector investment. Both institutions also exchanged views on potential cooperation under the Cambodia Climate Finance Facility (CCFF).

The meeting was held in the morning of August 21, 2026, at the ARDB Headquarters.
